Language Learning Tools was founded in December 2022. Our mission is to provide free language learning tools to help people who are learning a language.
I started to study Spanish as a complete beginner this year, and found that although there are some brilliant apps and websites available, almost all of them are based on a paid subscription. I was particularly looking for any app or tool that could help me to learn verb conjugation in Spanish, especially with all the different future and past tenses. I didn't really find anything that was better than the verb tables that my Spanish tutor had sent me. It was at this point that I decided to use these verb tables as the basis for a simple javascript application for conjugating Spanish verbs.
I shared the prototype tool with a few people and got really great feedback from them, so decided that I should build a website for it, and build some other tools that could help me, and others, in our language learning journeys. It was at this point that I decided to launch Language Learning Tools.
We only have tools available for learning Spanish so far but more languages are in the process of being added. Over time we will add more quizzes, tools and other learning tools.
